We are a proud organization rooted in the Milwood Neighborhood, founded by dedicated Milwood parents who recognize the need for higher-level competition—while staying true to our values of player development and relationship-building.

This organization was created by families who are committed to maintaining strong community ties and lasting relationships, all while enhancing the skills of the talented players already within our program. Over the years, Milwood Little League has consistently demonstrated its ability to compete at a high level.

With many of our players already participating in travel teams and leagues, we believe Milwood is uniquely positioned to form its own travel team. This opportunity would allow us to retain our homegrown talent, continue nurturing their development, and expand the Milwood Little League experience to families beyond our neighborhood boundaries.

What is Milwood Travel?

Milwood Travel is a competitive baseball program built on the core values of teamwork, dedication, and sportsmanship. Our mission is to help young athletes grow both on and off the field by providing high-quality training and meaningful experiences. Players not only sharpen their skills but also build lasting friendships and lifelong memories.

Participation in the Little League regular season is a requirement for all travel team members. We believe that competing together during the Little League season strengthens team chemistry and reinforces the foundational values we strive to instill in our players.

We are committed to making travel baseball affordable for families. Our total cost is $750, divided into three manageable payments of $250. This fee covers the same level of competition and training offered by other travel programs—without the focus on profit.

Included in the program cost:

Two full uniforms (home and away jerseys and pants)
One practice jersey
Batting gloves
Team baseball bag
Team hat
Cage jacket
Indoor facility training during winter months
Participation in 6–8 tournaments within a 150-mile radius of Kalamazoo

One of these tournaments will feature college scouts in attendance
